Ashley & CJ

AN ARRANGED MARRIAGE

If we were to pick one word to describe Ashley & CJ's wedding day, we would pick like five. We'd go above and beyond because that is what this wedding was. It was above and beyond elegant, classy and exquisite. Trust us when we say we've seen some awesome weddings but with Amber Weir's coordination, Ashley and CJ's day was bold, bright and beautiful. At first glance, the vibrant pinks of the Ashley's bouquet and centerpiece arrangements by Coco Rose Design versus the calming blues of CJ's tie and the bridemaids' dresses pop out at you. Look a little deeper and you'll see the delicate details like the gorgeous flower lacing of Ashley's gown to the presence of peony flowers on the bouquets, wedding invitations and dinner menus to the four-tiered cake.

The wedding was held at the Santa Barbara Historical Museum. Located in the heart of Downtown Santa Barbara with its red tiled roofing and wood beam awnings, the venue had a rustic and intimate feel. The location was as picturesque as you can ask for in a venue.

During the reception, Ashley's father gave a heart-warming and wise toast that we couldn't help but build their wedding film around. He joked about how Ashley and CJ's wedding was an arranged one because since Ashley was a little child, he and his wife have been praying for her spouse, whoever he may be. Actually, the arrangement went back generations from great-grandparents and beyond because of their faith in God and how that belief was instilled in the way they raised their children.

Please watch the film and see for yourself but we just have to point out how well the elements of their wedding tied in with the toast Ashley's father gave. A museum full of history but carefully tended to so that it could hold so much more. A wedding so elegantly decorated and well thought-out that it serves as a reflection of Ashley and CJ's love for each other and the vision they share as they start their chapter of wedded bliss.

The music we wanted to use for this film had to have that same sweet and tender feel, we found them on musicbed.com. We hope you enjoy and thank you letting us be a part of your amazing day!
